At Citrine Extensions Lounge, we don't believe in one-size-fits-all hair. Every guest receives a personalized recommendation, and your consultation is where that journey begins.
Arrive a Few Minutes Early
Your consultation is dedicated time with one of our extension specialists, and every minute is valuable.
If it's your first visit, we recommend arriving a few minutes early. Our salon can be a little tricky to find, and we'd love for you to have time to settle in, enjoy a beverage, and start your appointment feeling relaxed.
Come With an Open Mind
Many guests arrive convinced they need a specific extension method, but after evaluating your hair, scalp health, density, lifestyle, and maintenance preferences, we may recommend something different.
Our goal isn't to sell you the most expensive option, it's to recommend the method that will give you the healthiest, most seamless, and longest lasting result.
Wear Your Hair the Way You Normally Do
This is one of the best ways to help us understand your everyday routine.
If you blow dry your hair after every wash, come with it styled that way.
If you typically air dry your hair, come with your natural texture.
If you wear your hair curly, wear it curly.
Seeing your hair as you actually wear it helps us determine the best placement, density, color match, and extension method for you.
Be Honest About Your Goals and Budget
Whether you're looking for added fullness, dramatic length, or a solution for fine or thinning hair, we'll create a plan tailored specifically to you.
We'll typically present one or two options at different investment levels whenever possible so you can make an informed decision that fits both your goals and your budget.
There is never any pressure, our job is to educate you so you can choose what's right for you.
Bring Inspiration Photos
Photos are incredibly helpful! They give us a starting point for understanding the look you're hoping to achieve.
Keep in mind that everyone's starting point is different, so we'll use those photos as inspiration while creating a realistic plan for your hair.
What Happens Next?
If you decide to move forward, your stylist will finalize your color match, extension method, and hair order.
Because your hair is custom selected just for you, we require a deposit equal to 50% of the cost of the hair only to reserve your extension experience. This deposit is not 50% of your total appointment investment, it's simply applied toward your custom hair order.
Most custom hair arrives within approximately one to two weeks, although timing can vary slightly depending on availability.
Once your hair arrives, we'll schedule your installation. Since many of our specialists book several weeks in advance, your installation appointment may not be immediately available. We'll work with you to find the earliest appointment that allows us to give your transformation the time and attention it deserves.
